| Detail | Support |
| --- | --- |
| Actions | Set the thresholds and zones that make activity analysis and workout targets personal. |
| Open and use | User menu → Account settings → Heart rate zones or Power zones → save. |
| Data | Resting/maximum/threshold HR, cycling/running power thresholds and chosen zone method |
| Sports | Sport and indoor/outdoor power settings vary |
| Platforms | Web |
| Availability | Available with limits |
| Limits | Effective-dated settings affect the applicable calculations; an estimated FTP is separate from an accepted threshold. |

Set personal heart-rate references

Account settings → Heart rate zones holds the supported resting, maximum and threshold heart-rate inputs and zone method. Review the resulting boundaries before saving. The TRIMP profile determines the Banister coefficients; a zone label alone does not define [TRIMP](/learn/trimp/).

Keep sport and source context explicit

Power zones supports cycling and running threshold settings and the available indoor/outdoor context. A configured FTP personalizes relative power, zone boundaries and applicable power-load calculations. A direct watts target remains an absolute prescription, whereas a percentage target is relative to the effective threshold.

Review effective dates

Threshold history lets applicable activities resolve the setting for their date. Changing a setting can cause the corresponding analysis to be recalculated; displayed historical values can therefore change when their inputs change. A saved [eFTP estimate](/features/eftp/) is separate from a threshold you explicitly applied. [Zones methodology](/learn/zones/) explains boundary and coverage behavior.

Choose targets the sport supports

Workout Planner offers power and heart rate for cycling; pace, power and heart rate for running; perceived effort and heart rate for strength/other sessions. Its full target model is selected when authoring starts. Zone targets resolve through the applicable settings. Export and device delivery have narrower support than the authoring interface; review [the delivery matrix](/features/workout-planner/#delivery).
