<h2 id="estimate">Review an estimate before applying it</h2>

Open Account settings → Power zones to inspect cycling eFTP. The estimate uses qualified power efforts with source context and provides a reason when evidence is insufficient. It does not silently replace your FTP. [Estimated FTP methodology](/learn/eftp/) describes the duration evidence and fallback models.

<h2 id="evidence">Check recency and agreement</h2>

The evidence window reaches back 180 days; evidence older than 90 days is stale. The model examines sustained power around five, ten, twenty and thirty minutes, prefers suitable multi-duration evidence and uses constrained fallback estimates where necessary. Source and indoor/outdoor differences matter; combining unlike power meters can disguise disagreement.

<h2 id="decision">Apply only the estimate you accept</h2>

Compare the estimate with the configured FTP and its history, then use the explicit apply action if you want the supported threshold updated. Keeping the current threshold is a valid outcome. This is cycling evidence, not proof of a native iOS feature, a laboratory threshold test or automatic coaching.
