<h2 id="profile">Keep your athlete profile current</h2>

Open the user menu → Account settings. Profile and body-mass settings provide personal context for applicable calculations and displays. Thresholds and zones have dedicated sections; see [Training Zones and Thresholds](/features/training-zones/) before changing values that affect analysis.

<h2 id="units">Choose units and regional dates</h2>

Units and regional preferences control presentation, week starts and local date interpretation. The account timezone determines the local day to which an activity's start belongs. Changing display units does not alter what the sensor recorded. Review dates after changing timezone because daily grouping can change.

<h2 id="seasons">Name the periods you compare</h2>

Create seasons with dates for recurring [Progress](/features/progress/#seasons) comparisons. A name helps retrieve a period; it does not change the included activity measurements or create a training plan.

<h2 id="tags">Maintain reusable labels</h2>

Manage activity tags in settings and assign them in the activity list or detail editor. Tags organize retrieval without changing the activity's physiological metrics. Workout-library tags serve the reusable-workout workflow.

<h2 id="notifications">Check account and connection status</h2>

Account-level messages and provider status have different purposes. Review integration errors in [Device Sync](/features/device-sync/#status), where the affected operation is visible. The inspected settings do not establish a general coaching notification system or native-app feature parity.
